Mumbai Angels Network makes successful exit from India’s leading parenting platform BabyChakra

The exit is followed by BabyChakra’s acquisition by MyGlamm, a direct-to-consumer beauty company; this will further accelerate the brand’s growth journey on the D2C e-commerce segment and reach over 100 million moms in the next 3 years

Mumbai, August 24, 2021: Mumbai Angels Network has successfully exited BabyChakra, India’s top parenting platform for young parents, especially mothers. The development comes after the acquisition of BabyChakra by MyGlamm, which is India’s fastest-growing D2C beauty & personal care company.

Nandini Mansinghka, CEO, Mumbai Angels

Speaking on the exit, Nandini Mansinghka, Co-Founder & CEO of Mumbai Angels Network said, “We are delighted that our portfolio company BabyChakra is now a part of MyGlamm. BabyChakra has maintained a leading position in the mom-child personal care market over the past few years, helping mothers through easily accessible and informative pieces of content on our platform. We strongly believe that BabyChakra is now in the right place and this acquisition will help both the players strengthen their existing offerings and tap into new growth areas.”
